I'll second that! :laughing I'm still dealing with the dust from that ride on my bike -- try as I might, it just won't go away.

Thump,
That road is Forest Road M-10 through the Mendocino Natn'l Forest, way up in the Napa area.

Hey Thump... I have been thinking of the same thing. Let me know when you plan to explore up north. I found this awesome rd that I just cant get into legally.:shhh
I was sort of keyed in to it by a local. I got there and it was locked off with a big padlock. Tried as i could but I wasnt able to get around. Hmmmm.... maybe some small explosives.

Take a look at the threads below.
Plenty of promising roads closed off by locked gates.
Personally speaking, I won't ride around a locked gate. I have this strong self-preservation instinct!! :laughing

I would not ride around locked gates particularly in the Santa Cruz mountains (people have guns there) :wow In any case I respect private property and will not ride/drive on a private road without the owner's consent.
By the time I get a SM or DS, Andrew will have created a map with hundreds of miles of open dirt roads in the area! :teeth :banana
