Hello Barfettes,

I've created a list of places for us to buy gear in the Bay Area.
http://www.gearchic.com/links.html

I'd also love to hear from you if you'd like to write a review of any gear that you own. It's so hard to find recommendations from fellow female riders, so in an attempt to help close this gap, I've created a Reviews section specifically for our gear. I've also started a directory that lists online retailers that have a good selection of women's gear, as well a manufacturers that have a women's collection.

To all the Ladies and Gentlemen, if you know of any other places that carry a decent selection of gear in general, I'd be happy to add that to my list(s) too.

Hope this helps and happy Barfing!

Oh wow, this looks great! Thanks for taking the time to make this list up. I didn't know I used to live by a women's only shop in Sac. :cry

Thank you very much for this! Props for mentioning the Daytona Ladystar boots. They are THE best thing a short chick can buy instead of messing with her bike's suspension. I swear by mine. They are also ridiculously comfortable for such a heavy duty protective boot.

And I completely agree. I recommend them everywhere I go. They definitely helped me a lot as well.

Hey girls, There is a shop in Sac that has an icon racing jacket with armor, brand new for 299.00. I went in there to check things out with a friend of mine. The jacket was too big for me (size large) but was a crazy deal... thought someone else might be interested. Awsome site by the way and hope you all ride safe!!

Girls, if you ever need riding gears, ALWAYS I mean ALWAYS go see Joanne! Even if you don't end up buying at Scuderia I have never seen someone that knowledgeable about every gear, every zip, ever size and every fit/shape for women's gears! I had a few friends talk to her and even when they thought they would never find the right gear, Joanne ended up saving the day!! .. So Stop by Scuderia and talk to her! or read her website. She will take the time you need: last time the store closed and she was still helping my friend!!! :thumbup :thumbup

... Now if only she could make the difference between the different "friends" I bring :p ;)
