View Full Version : 2005 CBR1000rr for trade
Hello -
I have a 2005 CBR1000rr that is setup for the track. I have all the street plastics and everything to set it back to street wrapped up neatly in a box if you so desire.
Mods to include - full sharkskinz with double bubble windscreen, steel braided brake lines, vortex rear sets, plus...
I am interested in finding a 600 for the track. If you have a track ready 600/636/599/SV650 (get my point?) - please let me know if you'd like to step up to a liter.
This was/is a wonderful machine and it will not disapoint.
Trade only - I'll be expecting a bit of cash along with your bike but not much. I'm not doing this to make money, I would really like to cut my engine size down. :teeth
BTW - your 600 does not need to be a trophy bike. It'll be my learning tool so looks are negotiable. ;)
PM's work perfectly!

No, thank you for asking. I'm looking for less weight and smaller engine so that I may learn mo' better.

I have an SV650 that will out handle anything you've ever ridden. This is no joke. If you're coming to Thill this sat, you can take it out for a session.

I also had the same SV you have now - I get it Stan. ;) (Same color, same year - remember?)
I'll be at Laguna this weekend - no Thill.
What do you want with the 1000?

The guy has his bikes sleep INSIDE his living room so I would say very well maintained and taken care of! :)

I have a 2004 kawasaki zx6r 636 i would be willing to trade + lots of cash from me. It's actually set up for the street though, and has never been raced. Mileage is at like 8k or 9k. Let me know!

Dove, if you can unload that 1K, Rene's (Tequila) r6 is about as good as they come. It's handed my ass to me a couple of times. Granted....that's not saying much.....but still....fine machine.

So Dove Are you will to trade your bike for that r6 race bike straight across? maybe we can make a 3 way deal where I buy the bike and then we trade?? I really like that rr but nothing to trade.
^^^So - with that in mind.
If anyone is interested in a straight out purchase of my 1000rr - I will put a beginning price of my 2005 Honda CBR @$8,200 as is.
The price is negotiable and can be tailored to your particular financial situation.
$8,200 will get you a fully track-prepped 1000rr with all the street bits. I'm not interested in making money on my motorcycle, only in getting a fair price for what it is.
KBB retail - $7,855
NADA retail - $9,570 :laughing (where did they get that?)
Anyway - I would prefer a trade but I can't see anything wrong with selling off my baby and looking to purchase.
Cheers!
Chris

I believe we'd end up with approximately a $2,500 disparity at first glance.
TTT - still interested in a trade...just going around and around tracks in the mean time.
This is a great bike - set up to rail. Gas and go...:burnout
