Im just cuirios why matt dosen't offer a annual pass , Im new to the track and just got my bike ready to ride out there , along with my 7yr old sons bike , I started adding up what it would cost monthly to practice/ride there , 25.00 ea x 2 is 50.00 per monday for my son and i to ride there , or 200.00 per mo , (and that has nothing to do with all the other costs before you ever get to the track)yet i have a shifter kart that i can drive all week long for 300 dollars a yr there.

there was a post by matt a while back complaining about poor rider turn out to the 3rd race , and there was some comments in that thread talking about dwindling riders coming out , i was just wondering being a new person wanting to ride there wondering why he doesent offer an annual pass , myself being new to the sm sport , and comming out to whatch for the last 6mo would think it would be benifecial to offer a annual pass , i think it would attract alot more new people to the track ,and probably make him more money TO boot.
if the concept didn't work cris wouldnt be offering it to the kart guys.

as of now the 50 bucks per ride , not to mention leaving work early on mondays , is going to play a big factor how often we ride there, and im sure im not the only one that has mowed threw these factors.

anyone else have any thoughts on this

I'm sorry I don't see your point. If he offers an annual pass he will make less money. $25 to ride a motorcycle on a track is dirt ass cheap. Do you know what it costs to do a road race track day? Thunderhill is around $190 a day, and Sears Pt is around $300 a day.

Well if they can pull in enough people willing to pay the 300 per day more power to them, the bay and surrounding area holds alot of people ,its a high income area , and your pulling in highend bikes, at a highend premium track.

you have to take stockton for what it is, a club type track alot smaller pull of people , and a lower income area.

your comparing apples to oranges.

anyone reading this ,i want to make it clear im not trying to be negitive ,or bash anyone , i just thought an annual pass was a good idea and wondered why it wasnt offered.
