has anyone tried to get a SM track day on that track? i drove a shifter kart out there a few years ago and its an awesome track with lots of different layouts. i have no idea if its been tried or what it would take to make it happen, but these are the people that opperate the track:

Would be nice to have Prairie City as an optional supermoto track.

At one time (I don't know when) I believe they were contacted in this regard be they no to supermoto. :(

I suppose it's worth another inquiry. We can tell them that all of our SM bikes have peg sliders, bar sliders, axle sliders, etc. The kart people worry about us gouging up their track.

Hell yeah it is worth a try. Where is it located:confused
I would also mention the kart tracks we can ride now, stockton, atwater, dixon.....

Now for the problem, the schedule. I talked to the people at atwater, very nice & wanted to put SM on the schedule, but.. I could not commit to number of riders required$ We where lucky having Dion organize track days for SM :applause It takes hard work to make it happen.

yeah, i have no idea how to set one up, who to talk to, or frankly the time to make it happen. prairie city is about 20 minutes from my house and less than 10 from my work, which is why im curious. its between Folsom and Rancho Cordova in Sac county off of white rock road. ive been there a few times in my JEEP for their 4x4 park, but they have dirt bike tracks/trails and a ton of other stuff along with the kart track. really cool park.

From what I have heard, the owner has no interests in running bikes on the track!

I used to race mini-gp bikes there and the track is awesome. Elevation changes and banked corners, it's just a fun track to ride.

When the old promoter lost his deal the new guy shut the door on all bikes, which is a shame since our tax dollars help pay for that place. The State owns it, not the promoter who runs the track. Well, that's the way it was when they shut us down, maybe things changed.

its still a state park.

thats pretty lame if they stopped letting bikes on there, did they give a reason why?
