I'm thinking of selling, so I'd thought I'd see what the the average BARFer thinks my ride is worth. Here's the nuts and bolts:

2004 Honda Silver and Black 1000RR
Forged magnesium Marchesini wheels
Moriwaki Full Ti exhaust system
PCIII USB with custom Map
520 AFAM sprockets
CRG Shorty Levers
Steel braided lines
New Dunlop 208GPAs
BRC Hi Flow filters
Frame sliders/spools

This bike has 4650mi, a couple small scuffs but otherwise in excellent condition.

Ask the guys on 1000rr.net

You got about $3500 in after market accessories plus $6000 for bike.

Used:

$7900 sounds just about right. Maybe more if you got the stock parts and started parting out after markets.

Or just don't sell it and be happy with a very nice bike.

I got the 06 1000rr.

Good luck

sorry but i dont think that it is worth 7900.

1. as soon as the 08's are released, it will make the 04-05 2 generations old.

2. 7900 is only about 1500 less than a brand new 07 1KRR OTD.

3. yes upgrades are upgrades but as everybody knows, aftermarket parts doesn't mean shit to the value of a bike.

4. bike is an average 1KRR IMHO, with the exception of those BEAUTIFUL wheels you got there.

5. how many trackdays have you had on that thing?

The 08 is supposed to be a all new revamped bike for the 1KRR. Not sure if buyers out there are willing to pay that high for a bike going on 4 years old.

I think you should just buy another set of stock wheels and sell the bike for 6500 and part the marchesinis for 1500. there's your 8 Gs less the expense of stock wheels. DONE!

Again, this is just my .02 cents.
