The siren song of a new Tuono has influenced me. I need to sell the current bike to make room for the new one. I'm selling my 2003 RED Tuono RSV.

The bike has 15,2xx miles and the following mods:

Aprilia Titanium Racing Exhaust
Factory Pro Chip
New Metzler Sportec M3 tires
Race Tech .9kg/cm springs
Race Tech Gold Valves
MRA touring screen
LED rear lights
Turn signal integrator
Sargent Seat
New battery

10,000 mile service was performed by California Speed Sports in Livermore (new fluids and a full check) . Everything looked great and the valves were well within spec; no adjustments required.

Asking $7,200 OBO.

A do it all really well, extremely comfortable, nice looking, make everyone smile, bring out the hooligan in you, badass bike.

Ride one and you WILL want one.

I've got 24,000 miles on mine and won't sell it. Its the best all around bike I've ridden or owned.

If I hadn't bought an '07 Tuono Factory I wouldn't be selling it. In a perfect world, I'd keep the '03 and make it my commuter/touring bike. Unfortunately, cold reality has set in and I simply can't keep both bikes.

You know, I would consider it, but I'm on a one bike budget right now. According to the "head of household" we're a one motorcycle family.

Same bike in Magnet Gray with the evo TI exhaust.

That thing sounds like a BEAST!

Mind I asking you how you like the new gen tuono vs. the old?

Yes, the Ti exhaust sound fantastic!! The new bike is way too quiet. It needs some exhaust help.

It may not be fair comparing my '03 RSV with my '07 Factory. The wheels and suspension on the new bike make a big difference in handling. The new bike is a major step forward in the handling department, but given the components it should be.

The '03 with the FP chip and Ti exhaust seems to have more grunt down low versus the '07 and the '03 is MUCH smoother down low. The '07 is mapped very, very lean. Low revs (like when lane sharing) cause some pretty significant lean surges on the new bike. However, the '07 revs faster and definitely has more top end pull. I haven't really "gotten on it" too hard, but the difference is noticeable. Also, the '03 has MUCH more pronounced engine braking than the '07.

The brakes on the '03 are really good, but the brakes on the '07 are REALLY, REALLY good. Right now I'd say that my '07 just does everything a little faster than the '03: it revs faster, it turns faster, it brakes faster, etc.

There's a big difference between the two bikes. However, I'm not sure how much difference there would be if my older bike were also a Factory.

The Aprilia demo truck will be in Livermore August 10 -12. They're supposed to have a demo Tuono and Tuono Factory so you can make a direct comparison to your Gen 1.

Bike still for sale, so bumping myself again (in public, no less).

After riding my '07 Factory for a week, I took the '03 out last night. The engine in the '03 is STRONG. It accelerates better than my stock '07 (need to get some slip-ons). The '07 handles better.

So.............

I'm dropping the price $140:

-$100 because the registration is due in September

-$40 because it needs a suspension set up.

New price $7,060.

After sitting for a week in my garage, the bike fired up instantly. I forgot what a MAMMOTH sound it creates with the racing exhaust. I was giggling as I road to the book store. I wish I could keep this bike.
