Some insight into Camping at Altamont,

As a result of an agreement between the Raceway and Alameda County, there are certain restrictions related to overnight camping at the facality. 1) no more than 30 overnight campers are allowed.2) all overnighters must stay in a designated area which is not in the pits. There are no hookups, all RV's must be self contained and no outside fires are allowed. Vehicles used to transport and store race bikes are allowed in the pit's as long as they are not used for overnight accomidations. Campers will have the option to have their toy haulers in the pits during the day and then move out at night, or simply set up in the designated overnight RV area, and use a seperate pit spot in the paddock.

Racers just coming for the day, may bring thier RV or Hauler into the pit's and either leave it overnight and go to a hotel or back home, or take it out at the end of the day. Either way, no one stay's in the pits.

Thanx
