They're fun cars. I had a '01 AP1 and wished it had a little more low end. If I was to get another one, I'd supercharge it for sure

Had an 01' as well.. she was a fun ride.. only problem was the need for 2 vehicles. Can't drive the s2k through a buffalo ny winter and I got sick and tired of a 92 civic that was rusting to pieces, I couldn't fix it fast enough. Finally gave up and sold both for a new STi, now I'm moving to cali and don't need the AWD anymore..

I'm actually in the market for a civic now.. but I want the most gas efficient I can get.. Late 90s and cheap.. wish yours didn't have a swap..

yeah but those tiny 1.5s are awesome on gas..

You seem like you might be knowledgeable here though, is it pretty difficult to have a turbo project in Cali?

I thought I read GSXR Motor. I was like I'll buy a hatchback with a Busa motor!!!

im actually not too familiar with turbo. i never looked into it cause its too expensive, ruins the reliability of it, and i dont race. i mean the motor is perfect for those times when you need to cut over or to enter a freeway. or not let those fuckers who dont signal cut in...=) but cali is known for its anal tight air restrictions. they were iffy about making my car legal, but they had to because my car ran clean and all emission devices connected. anything other than a carb legal turbo kit wont get you through smog.

edmo,
i saw a 600rr motor in a geo metro! lol shit was loud! i think it was on craigslist for 3000. i would imagine a car with a bike motor is hella laggy in torque...mainly because it was designed to pull 600lbs, not 1500. but dont know, maybe a supercharged/turbo busa would do the job.

For me, it was 21 and having a flirty woman help me at the DMV. No smog for my 82 Toy pickup :)
