I am making a ride down to Anaheim from San Francisco on the 17th of May. I will be returning on the 19th. If anyone would be interested in riding with me down the 101, the crossing to the 5. (nice peaceful sweepers ride) Gimme a shout.:gmonie

Dang, I'd be up for that. Only I'm moving on that day. Maybe another time though. Have fun and ride safe.

what time u will b leaving on the 17th?
i would love to go, but i got work that day...

yeah, what time - maybe some can make part of the ride like a tankful of miles then back to the city. hey nathan, wanna' cruise to central calif. and back on this?

leaving?

Well, I plan on leaving in the early morning around 8:00 or in the afternoon around 3:30. I work in the military so it depends on when my cheif decides to let me off. I might be able to get that day off. I plan on going down there to meet with my girl, then come back on Sunday afternoon.

I think everyone has a copy of my work schedule and only plans things on the days I work. You would think only working 3 days a week I would never have a problem. Sorry man, gotta work.

dude if you wanna go around 6:30 eve
i for sure will go w/ you, but b4 that i cant gotta work...
let me know...if u wanna go around 6:30 in the eve.

Likewise.

I know some great routes ranging from 450 to 470 miles long that can be done in the available daylight as well, if you would like to get some more excellent riding in. Freeway time is minimized on my route.

They involve roads I don't even know the names of, I discovered them just getting lost with a full tank of gas while going to school at Cal Poly SLO in the mid 90s.

I guarantee it surpasses Tedski's "best route" as far as the fun factor goes.

:)
