Well I almost didnt make it! My starter on my truck was changed out sat evening so I could go play
AS for the race
1. the track was dry yet FAST perfict Carnige SHIT!!!!:laughing Hard pack with soft marbles and loose rocks on top!
2. Most of the trail was single track! so passing areas were few and far between. (you had to yell at the guy in front of you to get him or her to move)
3. for fun they threw in the entire motocross corse!!!:banana
As for the race!
700 people trying to run singletrack! you figure it out:laughing
I'm now declairing in front of all of you I WANT ELECTRIC START!!!
I pulled a DrZ and stalled on the start:laughing I got it going and started blasting into the motocross course! turn 4 wam I'm on my back in last place for the VETS Thanks dick head! back and running By the end of the Motocross - hill run-motorcross track I made my way pass a few people!!! Then it was off to the hills
This is were I had a FRICKING BLAST!!!!!!
The only bad was that in the first 2 sections of hills people were crashing right and left I must have stood their for 10 minutes each time.
Once the debris got cleared off we went. This track was techenical however the fun part was that they ran the corse in the area I usually ride!!:banana I knew every trail and rock!! comming from last I was picking off peps all over the place! I knew where I was going any they didnt!!:laughing
My only real bad came in the first 20 minutes. Their were 2 cats infront of me who I caught on a downhill (NOTE: when at CARNIGE and you are going down hill DONT USE YOUR BREAKS!! You will only pick up speed ) I followed these guys spending all of my time looking for a pass as we went off corse and did a big circle right in behind the guys I had just passed OOPS!! (Note #2 when trying to race the shortest way around a track wins and adding 1 mile will put you in the back of the buss again)
Well at the bottom of the hill go right not straight!
Back on course again and flying I think I was the only guy passing on the single track ! I knew every trail!!!! and where I could pass. I came upon a bad crash and slid over the top of the hurt people putting my followers behind me stuck in another traffic jam! free single track!!! FLY FLY FLY I have never had as much fun! full speed with no traffic comming at me (as carnige usually does) and no one racing up my tail pipe I'm out of here!
I was using this free time to open it up! for once in a race I WAS HEALTHY AND MY BIKE RAN OK! I'm out of here!
The track was fast up and slidding down through the ruts Rember no breaks
I went into the second lap at full speed Flying and passing Except for when I stalled twice on the hill climbs OOPS:shhh 3 minutes to pull the bike out of line and start up
i found my self singing and having fun! I came around for my second lap and needed GAS I blew past the pits and said Fricket I can go 1 more! as I pulled into timing They said the race was over! I missed the cutoff for the last lap by 5 minutes ! shit! Which was great cause I was almost out of gas!
I have never had so much fun!! it was like racing my friends out on a regular sunday! playing tire tag in my back yard!
YOU ALL MISSED IT!!!!
all in all I had a BLAST
I cant wait to find out how I placed!
