I'm thinking of upgrading the stock exhaust for my 07 GSXR 600.

Does anyone have this or know of anyone with the Taylormade Exhaust? I've never heard of them until last week.

http://www.racetaylormade.com/tmpages/suzpages/suz06-750.html

They claim +2 to 3 hp increase.

I like the way it looks and how it's "tucked" underneath. Don't know if the $600 price tag is worth it when you compare it to the Akra slip on for only about .

Or one of the three Akrapovic exhaust.

If you guys like the Akra, which one would you recommend?

Slip On, Racing, or Evolution line?

I'm leaning towards just a slip on.

Akra claims +5.9 rear hp with just the slip on. And 6.9 with the full system - 10-13 lbs (depending on race or evo full system).

I Don't know if the full system is worth the $$$$

What are your opinions or experiences with any of these.

Bad link.

I will, however, comment on the Akraprovic (well, the brand anyway, since I don't ride a GSX-600). The quality is undeniable. I put a full Evolution (the Titanium one) on my 2004 636 and it rocked my world - after tuning... When I picked the box up (I ordered it used) I was like, "WTF? That asshat didn't send me the whole thing?" Turns out the the entire Ti system was lighter than my stock header. A slip-on is for show in my opinion, but a 5.9 hp increase is really damn good for just a slip-on. In this case I would say the main reason to shell out the extra cash would be weight savings (if you're into that sorta thing...or you could just work out for a few weeks and drop a few pounds on the heaviest part on the bike - you :)) Either way I think a Power Commander and a proper Dyno tuning is in order.

I fixed the link. Thank you for the input as well.

Were you comfortable getting a used full system?

Check out the Yoshimura R-55 while you're at it.

The system had "less than 2,000 miles on it" but when I pulled it out I didn't even look like it had ever been installed, let alone ridden with. I had good pictures of it beforehand and knew it was in good condition. Plus, I couldn't pass it up at $400 off of retail :)
