i think u should learn to handle it the way it is first. when you outgrow it, then worry about the mods.

This should be posted in the 50 forum! Springs are definitely the best upgrade. Like Ravi said though just learn to handle it first. You can do everything on it stock.

WORD..
It also depends on your size. I got no legs whatsoever, so I was able to get a special top triple-clamp that just moved the stock bars out an inch. If my legs were longer, I would definitely need big bars. As iit is, that will probably be my next purchase for the fiddy.
If you got long legs, you might go for the bars/t-clamp first??
BTW, shouldn't this be in teh "mini-bikes" forum:confused
where is the mini bikes forum?! i got something relevant to post but wtf? :(

Thanks for the link and offer staRang....would the new springs impede on the ride for my little one (i.e. too harsh/stiff for him)?

No!!, my littlest one is always asking to ride my fiddy because he likes the ride better!!! His is getting new springs soon! :thumbup
Im going with the BBR bar setup first. Then springs, seatfoam and cover. Then pipe. After riding Bad Dads fiddy last weekend I realized that bars MUST come first for me.
same i got the bbr bar kit and works rear shock :thumbup

Has anyone got the applied racing bar kit? It looks sick but the bars look like they would be too low.
i chose the bbr kit over the applied racing. josh at motoworld racing persuaded me to buy bbr, originally i was going to do applied racing. he said the bar and kit isnt as well finished as bbr :nerd
Craig at Fast 50's is the man! You can see his stuff at www.fast50s.com. He is pretty much the guy that started the whole thing, and he races them as well as makes parts for them. He is also a local guy. Give him a call and/or go talk to him at any of the races.
You'll never see anyone so damn fast on a 50.
