Nice work...
except for the stretched scrotum style gas tank..

That "tank," in relation to the seat, definitely made me raise my eyebrows.

OMG! What an astoundingly beautiful work of art.

Great woodworking, but I don't like the outcome. I'll just enjoy the details (like the wooden hose clamps and individual chain links) and the craftsmanship that went into creating them.

The "ribs" for cooling should be tilted 90 degrees, get some flow over them suckers. that thing is awesome...imagine trying to carve that exhaust

I miss oahu! I took a pic of that same bike several years back.

Its cool except for the nut sack gas tank.
wooden drive chain is cool!

damn! I just carved a sign with me and the little ladys names on it... I can appreciate the work that went in to that. Is that a turbo?

It's definitely supposed to be a wooden turbo. I'll bet that thing logs some quick 1/4 mile times.:|

I guess he was carving a revolver and got over it. He must have started to like motorcycles more, and did not want to start from scratch?

ive been to this guys studio in sebasopol, he's old buddies with one of my sculpture professors. the guy (Michael i think is his name, dont quote me on it) is one of the best craftsman ive ever seen, every seem is so smooth and the overall finish so kickass, his work feels glassy to the touch. he also built a badass 33 ford 3 window (real steel) that he brings to the the classic car drive in at the local Fosters Freeze that has the most ridiculous pipes ever
