streetbike rims on SM?

Ive seen a few bikes who have modified f3 rims to fit a supermoto what modifications are needed to actually make it work?

i would think that those wheels would be heavier than spoked sm wheels.... but i believ you need to machine axle spacers, and some other ish... skarkburmer( jeff) had f3 wheels on his cr500 maybe pm him.

In Austrailia I did a few Sm races and quite a few racers use them... Looks silly but they are cheaper than SM wheel sets... Spacers machined on a lathe easy money...
