As if you can throw lights on any bike and that makes it street legal. I guess suckers really are born every minute.

I would sell my sport bike for a street legal one though, I have seen the other side ;)

negative...although I dun really own a sprotbile, I have to have something(s) else in addition to SM/DS bike....SM's are just like sprotbiles, in that they are narrowly focused machines that are really only good at a certain type of riding, for all other types of riding, they more or less suck ass depending on which make/model you choose...

I bought my smr to kick the street habit! I was riding way too fast for the back roads. Some days I'd have to deal with jack-ass road cyclist, or idiot mom's pushing thier babies around taking up half the road. Yeah I don't get to ride as much, it cost more, & I miss passing others. Now I get drop by kids:laughing Just found out how much fun these bikes are in the dirt:teeth

If just 50 people where hard core trackers, I could get us LOTS of track time!

Yeah Stan, I was looking at that exact craigslist ad, but I have no pretentions on making the bike street legal. I'm just in love with it!

I don't think i can part with my sportbike either.

On a different note. I have recently come across a great deal on a 05 CRF250R 3999 brand new.

It is a great track bike. Mine has been a blast. Did not check the ad, but you can get great deals on new bikes out of state. I don't know if I would buy a used track bike myself.
