$3200
I'm selling for a friend who's in the UK for a year. If it doesn't sell it'll sit in my garage until he gets back. That's cool since I get my choice of bikes, but it's parked behind the other one... It's a great bike, looks sharp, and runs awesome. If not for my 851 I'd buy it. All the paperwork is filled out no hassles with that. Clean title. Registration has been paid and sticker is in the mail for this year.
Here's his description:
This bike is in extremely good condition
Maintained by Desmoto sport.
It is standard apart from:
Slightly sporty exhausts (Staintune)
On/Off Light switch (European style)
Scott Oiler with spare oil (Oils your chain for you)
Heavy duty starter motor connection cables
Slightly higher windshield
Ducati suitcase panniers
Extras:
Bike cover
Kryptonite Lock
Magnetic tank bag
Service History:
Engine was completely overhauled by Desmoto sport 3000miles ago (Rewound alternator, reshimmed gearbox, reset valves etc). And runs like a new engine.
New brake pads
The clutch was replaced 10,000 miles ago
The clutch slave cylinder was replaced 5,000 miles ago
The bike has done 43000 miles. I am only the 2nd owner and I put on most of these miles (mainly freeway)
This has been a good reliable bike and I would definitely hang on to it, if it were not for the fact that I am leaving the US. This is a good reliable bike and a bargain for anyone that wants it.
It really is a great bike. I've got it now in Crockett, right off I-80, south of the Carquinez Bridge. Check the NADA guide - this is a very good price indeed. Also, it was given a love-tap once while stopped, which resulted in a new front and side fairing.
