Well guys, I haven't done a video in over a year, so I'd like to do another - this time of no track stuff - pure hooliganism ONLY. I'd probably want to tape partial in Santa Cruz, some of Metcalf, lot's of stunts and some twisty stuff.

OKAY! Weather permitting, we will tape on November 25th, meeting at SnellBux. We'll head up to the dirt road (I still have to go on with you guys). Mortifer Mike and Yana, can you lead this ride so I can trail behind to tape?

Also, I need to get some urban shots, so I would like to go to Santa Cruz High and get some shots of people doing the stairs there.

25th, Snellbux then off to play on some dirt roads.

If that's the plan let's also pick up peeps in Los Gatos as we roll through, it's on the way, then up Old Santa Cruz and summit to dirt.:)

post up a time when you have a chance, I'll take care of the route...lemme know how much dirt and total miles you want.

BTW, I'm going to use the bullet cam, but I really wnat to get shots of you guys off my bike, using the tri-pod.

So for those of you that are going to be in this video, you're going to have to be patient with me. We'll have to do a few stops, I'll pull up front, set up the tri-pod and get the shots of you guys going by.

I want to do more of a creative/funny video, not just riding with music. So off the bike shenanigans is also very encouraged. :ride

Meeting time is 10:00am - leave time is 10:30am
We'll pick up a few more hooligans at the Los Gatos Starbucks on Los Gatos Blvd at 11:00am

Please be patient with the stopping and starting, also I'm going to start a sheet so y'all can write your names and you BARF aliases for the ending credits. This will not be a paced ride

This will be one of 2-3 sessions, depending on weather and time. I'll also need to get some video at Metcalf in a few weeks.

I've been getting a few PM's about this. Let it be known to the intraweb family that this weekend's taping will only be 1 of a few I will need to get all the footage for this epic film. My goal is to NOT make a normal riding to music vid... I mean, there will be music but there will also be a TON of goof ball stuff.

Jeez, what a fucking let down.

I was having one hell of a time starting the DR this morning, until I finally started it and it was running horribly. I looked in my rear view and saw nothing but smoke - something bad happened.

I'm done with this bike. I'm selling it along with my CR and XR and I'm going big on a bike, something new. Looks like we'll have to postpone this taping until I get my shit together but needless to say I was very disappointed. I could've taken the KLR, but I need a new rear tire and there would be no way in hell I'd be able to keep up with that pig.

Biggest apologies, guys and I hope y'all had a nice ride anyway :cry

Pretty much the same route from yesterday...but it was more tight and kept together. Very good group today!!!

Man, you guys should have seen Ed on 880...he pulled a MEAN wheelie up to about 85-90mph!!!! It lasted for a good 15-20 seconds! I was :wow :laughing

To the rest who made it out today, THANK YOU! That was the most fun I have had on the Husky since I got it. Definitely a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed all the dirt. Man there really were no long straights all day, hence the 880 shenanigan.

I got blessings to do more of these trips, the wife was happy to get to spend some time with her family while we were out havin fun. win win :thumbup

Kenny, don't trip on the willy, out here in the valley we have a lot of very long, straight, and flat backroads that we have to take to get to the good stuff. So we get practice. alot of it. Normally wouldn't do it that fast either, but I didn't want to get run down by any priuses. :laughing And thanks again for the great pics!!

Dion, I say get the husky 510 enduro or the ktm, you'll manhandle those bikes in the dirt and can get a decent cruising speed out of them on your longer road trips.

:laughing ....yeah, I guess I do like the porkers! (but don't tell my wife, especially with her being 8 1/2 months preggers and all...) I'm not so sure I was handling the MZ that well, considering I put it into a tree! :rofl Aside from the busted plastics, the headlight bracket is shattered (Acerbis replacement finally arrived yesterday), the wiring was stripped out of the front brake lever upon impact (no brake light now), the bushings inside the triple tree were stripped out and is loose, and the choke lever (it's a dial, actually) is broken, which allowed it to spin all the way around the handle bar, flooding my engine and probably fouled my plug. The bike fires up, but as soon as I get it going down the street it chokes and spits and wants to die. I'll get it going again, but in the meantime my wife's XT225 has been getting lots of love! :)
