Falling off a horse

I've ridden horses competitively in the past and have had some serious "get-offs," one that dislocated a rib and another that bruised my kidneys. To go with that...the usual stepped on, bit, kicked, squished minor events that are just part of what comes with riding these animals. Why do I love dangerous sports? hehe :flame Anybody else into risky endeavors (beyond motorcycles of course)?
