anyone do this? I have a general idea of how its done, but i'd like to know the step by step from someone experienced. Also let me know of anything to watch out for.

Not much to it. Stand on your seat with while still holdingo on to the bars, make sure you and the bike is stable and just stand up. the hardest part is getting your knee's straight. Once your knees are straight it's a lot easier. The easiest way to keep the bike going is to turn up your idle.

cool, sounds simple enough...... so i keep it in gear right? as opposed to shifting down to neutral?

It's easy once you get it but first time can be scary...dont hesitate to just jump back down in your seat if you feel unstable. Kalamari Kid fell off the back of his bike in a christ and tore his ACL and had to get knee surgery...that vid clip is in our video. You can turn up idle and leave it in gear...make sure your idle is high enough and if the bike starts slowing down ...jump back down into the seat...a slow rolling bike is a unstable bike.

Wow reading all these squid treads makes me want to get a extra bike that I mess up and not care about. Sounds like fun.

if you do fall, fall correctly, i bailed once and rolled rather than trying to bail and land on my feet running. no torn acl no problems :thumbup

learn how to surf... seems like the same concept of standing up.

Good idea drizz. Surfing is a lot easier than a christ. I would suggest trying that out first.

Ya doing a surfer would be alot easier your balance will be way more stable, plus it will be easier to get the feeling for it.
When I do christs I think that I am usually going about 15-20mph ( boys correct me if I am wrong....don't usually pay attention) sometimes I turn up the idle and sometimes I have it in neutral. I would say definitely turn up your idle......you have to get the feeling of your bike and how it reacts at what speeds.
