Looking for some streamline looking mirrors.. tired of the chunky square ones. Would like to mount them in the original places- not bar end type. Attach pics and where you got them would also be helpful :thumbup

I use SV650 1st gen mirrors. They are round and smaller and stick out further and dont vibrate as much. ANd dont look like dumbo's ears

I replaced my square mirrors with my CB250 Nighthawk mirrors -- they're black, the backing is a heavy-duty black plastic, and the mirrors are long and kinda rounded rectangular-ish. Best of all the threads are the same (10 mm?), so screwing them in just takes a few seconds. Plus the OEM black locking nuts complement the mirrors.

Since I'm selling my CB250, and couldn't let a newbie learn to ride with the sucky DRZ mirrors, I ordered replacement OEM mirrors from this Honda online store (http://www.hdlparts.com/fiche_select.asp?mfg=Honda&partnumber=88110-KBG-000). Parts numbers are: Left - 88120-KBG-000 and Right - 88110-KBG-000. The store was prompt in shipping the mirrors -- was just a few days between placing the order and receiving the mirrors.

KTM 950 Adventure folding mirrors. Up as high but round and smaller and screw right in to the existing post. The real reason to get them though is if you actually ride both on and off road. On tight trail I can fold them down onto the bars without tools and without stopping. See them on my ride in front (click to enlarge)...

so, do those mirrors work better as mirrors than DRZ mirrors?

good solution if they do...also how much $$$?

The CB250 mirrors are the best ive seen yet.

I really like the DukeII mirrors, but I dont have a KTM hookup, so, the CB250 mirrors are on the top of my list right now.

These are the mirrors. You can also just go to Scuderia West and order them. If you order from KTM USA they will probably ship from Scuderia anyway.

Are they better? I think so. Waaaay lighter, they fold, and have a smaller surface area so they catch less wind. The folding joint is plastic and I kinda wish it was metal but not at the cost of all that weight. I have used them a couple years and have had no problems. Not a weight weenie but unscrew your DRZ mirror sometime and feel just how heavy one is.

I put Duke II mirrors on all of my DP/motard bikes. The stupid little KTM stem adapters are more expensive than the mirrors, but the end result is way better than any stock mirror.

Haha, yup... cant miss the green machine!....or me :laughing

But ya...Ive been looking around for different mirrors too. You can see how big and gumpy they are in that pic above. I like the KTM mirror idea.

The only others that I liked were these (http://www.dual-star.com/index2/Equipment/adjustable_mirror1.htm)...just not as good visual.
