Last night I called my friend Brett for a ride. I was bummed out, so the best thing for my soul is ride - my thoroughbred is outta commission at the moment, so I ride the fizzer.
We fueled up and decided to cruise the streets of south san jose instead of hitting the hills - last thing ya need is to be plowing into a deer along San Jose - Soquel Rd.
We took Blossom to Lean to Santa Teresa and we had a blast on Santa Teresa. There is where I pulled my first wheelie!! I might have gotten an inch of air under my tire, but I rolled with it and it was a blast! All I was trying to do was go through the gears going as fast as I could.
Along Santa Teresa I saw him doing what appeared to be an easy stunt. "The superman" as we call it. I thought, chit, I can do that. Well, I did! Although next time I'll have to thrust out my left hand like the super-hero does!
We turned around at Old Monterey Hwy, near Dunne, and took Monterey Rd back. Here is where my wine wore off and I no longer had the bravado to try stunts. Brett kept the entertainment coming though.
The ride was just what my soul needed, thanks my friend~!
