Does anyone have a definite suggestion? I'm looking at picking one up in the next couple of weeks.
Also, can someone remind me what the tank capacity is (miles-wise)?
Thanks much :thumbup

ohhh Dave, get the white one! :thumbup
I can't tell you where to buy one, as I've purchased mine used, but on a stock tank you can get around 85-miles.

Thanks Stan. I'm undecided as of yet, but the white one is the 'new hotness'...
Sounds like I'd need to look into a larger tank for a 110 mile round-trip commute :/

Get the Clarke 3.9 tank. Unfortunately if you get the white DRZ, the 'natural' colored Clarke tank would clash..
If your commute is all freeway, you may be able to get 110 out of a tank - that would be going 60mph the whole way and no abrupt throttle changes.

Thanks Stan. Is that 110 with the stock or 110 with the clarke? Also, doesn't Acerbis make a 4.25?

:hand I hit reserve at ~99 miles, and usually fill up with <2 gals. Since it holds 2.4 (or 2.6?), I expect ~120-130mi/tank. :ride

I meant 110 with the stocker.. But that would be very tough to do.
I think you're talking about the IMS, and not many folks like that tank. (fit issues)
For an aftermarket large tank, the only real game in town is the Clarke.

just ride it and see what mileage you get, then see if you need the bigger tank.
I get about 50mpg consistently. Should go 110 easy on a tank.

Sounds like a good idea.
