hey, i'm somewhat new to the motorcycle scene. i've been admiring it for about a year, before i actually got my first bike. now i'm on my second bike, and i gues s i'm just looking for any tips or help that make me a better rider. i'm not exactly sure whether what I'm doing is correct, but its gets me from point a to b in one piece. haha anyways, i was browsing through the forums and it seems like there is a lot to motorcycle riding than just hopping on a bike and taking off. i would like to learn how to corner better. i'm also currently saving to go to the superbike school, but i also wanna learn a little by myself, and pointers? and i'd love to meet up with any newbies out in the vallejo area. i don't know much about this place, just moved up here for college.

thanks you guys

Welcome to barf. California superbike school is a good school. They will really break down the science of making the bike do what you want. Good luck.

Going to some "newbie rides" are a great way for a current rider to get more practice in riding the bike & seeing how other riders handle the same turns you're on. If there are no rides posted, you can post a day and time (usually Sat/Sunday at 10:00) and ask for help with the route & for a lead & a sweep.

^ +1 to 'Newbie Rides.' I just started riding 5 months ago and I can say that I learn the most during group rides. Not only can you see what others are doing, but you can ask others for tips and advice.

Bisugo puts on rides once or twice a month and he is very organized. There is no pressure and every type of rider is welcome. I'm in the south bay and there are regular weekly rides through twisties....hit me up if you are down here:thumbup
