Probably one of the most incredible riding videos I have seen on Youtube. It is fast, illegal, and ends rather dramatically (I won't give the ending away.)
Be sure to watch from the 9:00 minute mark to the end, or the whole thing if you have the time.

The other videos are equally haneous.
This may start a flame war, you are warned.

Crazy. :wow I love the Fast Bikes vids, first time I've seen this one.
Edit: Actually, I had seen the ending of this one before. Ridiculously close.
heh old stuff, I used to have the VHS tape of this movie. Fast Bikes used to rule, they suck now. Performance Bikes is the new FB :cool

Ah man that's only part of the vid. There is about 20 minutes before that where there are three guys playing around doing 3rd gear blind rise wheelies and such. One bins it and then these two go off and play.
Arg now I gotta go try to find it...
Thanks for posting BTW
Found where it was from: Fast bikes show vol 2 but can't find the whole video anywhere.

It's not that... There's simply nothing impressive about a car on the street. Cars can be cool, but no matter how cool a car is, it's not a motorcycle.
I mean, jeez it's a car. It's like seeing Katie Couric naked. Yeah, she's a naked chick, so that's good. But it's Katie Couric naked, so what's the big deal.

lol, you've never driven anything fast, especially on the street, which is why it doesn't impress you. Not your cup of tea sure, but not impressive? Bikes are cool, it's the im cool because i ride people when nobody really cares that take away from it. Different strokes for different folks

It wasn't a race. Those guys used to work for Fast Bikes mag [from UK] and they would film each other while "testing" the bikes. Make videos and sell them. I used to be a huge fan of both FB and PB vids, had a ton of them, still have some on VHS [but don't own a VCR anymore]

Might as well have been for all the risks they were taking. What's the risk in the drag videos you posted? ...besides losing your pinkslip to some wigger with a vin diesel complex. These bikes will go nearly 200mph, and these riders are pretty much going balls out on a mountain road with opposing traffic. What can the car guys do? Go straight really fast? Big deal. Rally driving is where it's at for car racing.

Might as well have been? That's like masturbating might as well be sex because it's close enough. The risk is exactly the same you tard who i tried to ignore once already, wreck, die, police, except you might lose some money to somebody else (nobody races for titles go back to watching fast and furious) and or get beat up. THOSE bikes didn't go anywhere near 200mph, but they have the ability to is what you're saying....WOW, you act like that's some sort of mechanical break through to be able to get a 400lb vehicle with 200odd horse power going 200mph in a 30 second time frame :rolleyes. How bout 200mph in 6 seconds from a dig in something that weighs 8x more fag. So what can those car guys do? What the hell can those bike guys do?
And to the go straight really really fast thing :laughing, like i said to somebody else on here, it's obvious you haven't done it. That line gets less and less straight, especially on the street.
"But but i am fast i have a motorcycle" :rofl if you wanna get chopped off on the street by my POS 3600lb car thats on a 10" tire with a 1950s designed small block with stock style suspension to your 400lb race motorcycle for some $ you let me know. But maybe i watch too many movies and that's just the vin diesel in me talking :rolleyes
Yes Rally Racing is cool but you don't do that either, so go back to watching your biker boy videos and kissing that poster of valentino rossi you have on the wall.
Yody, your cool but in regards to that who wants to see a cage lift the wheels on the street on video. This isn't directed at you really since i know your bout the racing, but just since you mentioned it. Doing a wheelie on a motorcycle is the same as doing one on your bicycle, big deal. Doing a wheelie in a cage is the same as you doing a wheelie on the back of a tandem bike with your mother in law sitting on the handlebars :thumbup
Back to the 23 year old douche bag, you've never been fast, you'll never go fast, you're scared to race something that weighs 8x more than you and is lacking 60 years of technology with extremely fucked up weigh distribution, and you have a small penis to boot. Damn JesasaurusRex, lol... you should write my term paper. looksl ike you have alot of time on your hands. :| :loser
BTW its my opinion that these guys and this video are nothing special. They aren't riding "that" fast to be really so impressed, and they are obviously riding above their heads really sloppy. Not trying to be hater but if you watch the whole video its pretty obvious. how many times did they blow turns rushing into them going faster than their brains could process. I saw the leader go wide out of a few turns nearly blowing it. lot of early turn-ins followed my midcorner corrections due to either the early apex, no site through the turn, and probably not knowing the turn and just rushing it in general. You could see that crash coming from about 1/3 into the video.
Its hard to tell what caused the crash but IMO he turned in early and wasn't familiar with the turn. His early apex caused the bike to prematurely stand up to exit the turn, only the turn wasn't finished. He couldn't see through the turn and when he did you could see his mid turn correction but it was too late. A slower entry with a later apex in a more controlled riding approach would of avoided this accident.
While many probably think this video rocks, all i see are 2 retards riding over their head and crashing
It only looks fast and appealing because they are riding so unsmooth, ever notice that the really fast guys(even Motogp and the like) don't look like they are going so fast? Its becuase they are smooth. A good rider could of taken that road at the same pace and probably made it look easy. They make it look so exciting because they suck and are irratic and just are going to fast for their skill level. The smoother you go the faster you go the slower it looks.
One might say I'm a hater for saying this and that I couldn't ride that fast myself, well obvioulsly neither could they :)
Oh and if one of these guys went on to ride superbike well then I'll eat the crow pie, but I highly doubt that

While drag racing cars is cooler that is not my sole purpose :teeth. I love motorcycles as much as the next guy and honestly the only reason I don't ride anymore is because of poor decision making on my part. I know quite a few folks on this forum and have ridden with quite a few and don't feel that my not having a motorcycle for the past year, year 1/2 , should mean I have to stop posting. They both raced professionally and Rob Frost [Frosty, the guy on the Duc] raced for few years in World Supersport.
That is fast entertaining to watch riding, the reason street legal sportbikes exist. If is not for you don't do it.
I realized my balls are to small to actually ride a motorcycle so I just troll BARF and try to convince people that my balls are not really that minuscule cos I can actually drive a cage. No, not one that can go fast around corners, my balls are still to small for that too but at least in a straight line.
Don't be so harsh on yourself buddy, cars are not that bad I wish I had one to it would make getting groceries much easier. :)

From what I've read it seems like a significant number of your posts are intended to "stir up $hit" (in your words) by denigrating sportbikes' straight line performance. :rolleyes Aside from the fact that this type of behavior is typically classified as 'trolling', you can tell from your lack of success that no one cares how fast your car goes in a straight line. As you know, you can give a 55 inch wheelbase sportbike 1000 horsepower and it's just going to loop you backwards. I think it's safe to say the vast majority of BARFers derive their riding enjoyment from ripping up the twisties, not going fast in a straight line - otherwise you would see a lot more big bore bikes with extended swingarms.
If you want more bites, go troll a Hayabusa forum. Otherwise, perhaps change tactics and talk smack about how your 'supercar' can get around the corners faster than a sportbike. Even then, I doubt most riders would care for the simple fact that the driving experience (even in a fast car) pales in comparison with the euphoria of riding.

Either you've done a sh*t load of searching and reading up on past posts of mine (i'm flattered) or you haven't read a lot of anything, you've been here for like 2 weeks. Nobody is speaking ill of sportbike straight line performance, those things frickin book, just so happens a lot of people think they've seen an elapsed time in a magazine and think they'll do the same...wrong. Lack of success in that nobody cares how fast my car is :laughing ? I'd hope not (it's slow anyway), but i'm glad you think is is all about lil ol me :)

110% with you on that one, thing you refused to take into consideration since you have your own view and this goes against it. This started as a "Street Race" thread, problem was there was no street racing in any video i watched. I showed one. In return get the typical bikes are great and im cool cages are bad and slow responce from the squids. I say grab a lane, he pretends he's not viewing this thread anymore. for the simple fact that the driving experience (even in a fast car) pales in comparison with the euphoria of riding.

OK, ultimately yes, the risks are the same. Granted, both sports are risky, but you're much more likely to die going that fast on a mountain road without the protective chassis of a car around you. Honestly, how many people do you hear about dying in car drags vs. motorcycles on twisty roads? Do you think this is because the drag racers are more competent drivers? I can agree that going straight becomes more challenging at high speeds, but I hardly think that going straight in a car at high speed is more difficult than negotiating turns at high speed on a vehicle that must be balanced and has far less traction.
And if you think I am just hating on cars because I'm a biker and bikes are cool, guess again. I don't like motorcycle drag racing either. Or tractor drag racing. Or any drag racing. If I want to watch a race, I'll turn on Formula 1, MotoGP, WRC... any kind of racing, as long as it has some turns. Even nascar is more fun to watch than drag racing. Or maybe you just like drag racing because it resembles your sex life. Over in under 10 seconds.

You're much more likely going to die on a motorcycle period, no matter the activity. I don't see the point you're trying to make by asking who has more accidents. That one activity is more difficult than the other? Possibly, then again i know way more people that ride above their heads than people who drive above their heads. The amount of people who have way too much bike far far out weighs the people who have way too much car. I'd also have to say bikes are tons more unforgiving (bodily harm wise), but once again don't see where you're trying to go with this.
If i wanted to watch a race Formula 1 or MotoGP would be the last thing's i'd watch. For some reason you seem to enjoy "races" where there's almost no passing being done what so ever. Would they be fun to participate in? F*ck yes, but fun to watch? No thank you. I don't much care to watch the NHRA Power Ade series either if it makes ya feel any better.

Likewise, I would say that drag racing is fun as hell to participate in, but to me it's not much fun to watch. Although, I have fallen asleep during some GP races too. Maybe they should all have weapons.

Haha... can't say I ever felt anything. :twofinger

man, i was hoping that everyone would have complained that these guys were going too fast. only a couple people did. the fastbikes guys from the days of old are by far, the sickest, craziest, most bad ass motherfuckers that ever rode sportbikes on the street.
man... i love those guys... sniff sniff.

If those guys were racers, then I hope they didnt know the road because they were riding a little beyond the speed for that road and kinda sloppy too.
Everybody has their own preference as to what they like or dont like. Nobody here is going to convince anybody else why their choice of "racing" is better. I personally have a 60's camaro with a tricked engine, musle cars rock. The roar of detroit muscle pulling the front end of a car is an awsome thing to see. But seeing some of these riders outbraking each other and enticing a bike to turn when it just wants to go straight is also quite a show. Personally i'd rather be at T-hill WOT out of turn 6 then racing my car on the street. I think it takes big balls to drag race but slightly bigger ones to drag your knee and try to pass/outbrake your opponents. ANyway that's just my preference not trying to say 1 is better then the other.

Yeah I have to agree these guys were riding sloppy. It's obvious they were riding over their heads, and the crash was pretty much inevitable. Just goes to show that even at the level of skill required to race in BSB or MotoGP, you can still go way beyond the limits of safety on the street. I guess that's why many hotshot racers don't do sport riding on the street.
