I got a letter in the mail but it doesn't have a check and doesn't say what I need to do. It says that my bail and traffic school amount is being refunded in full. I have a pink R29 form that looks like i might need to sign it and mail it in but it doesn't say. I'll probably just go down to the court house and have them explain it to me. the other one is a form TR - 215 that says my ticket was dismissed and I am being refunded.

good news. I once again have a perfect record for the last 6 years and no tickets on my bike.
are tickets when i was a juvenile still searchable or part of my record? i got one for 10 over when i was 17 back in 2001.

If the ticket is in Sac they have already filled out the form for you which is what you got in the mail and it states refunds can take up to 90 days and let me tell you I got mine on the 90th day:mad

50 in a 35
In general, no. Regular infractions stay on one's driving record for 3 years.

good stuff. i hope you learned the lesson though.
when i won via TBD, i was sent a check in the mail for whatever amount. i would call the court house to make sure everything is up to date and whatnot.

Details, please. I never thought such a thing would work. I always figured since they got your money, what incentive is there to give it back?
Would you mind telling us what the charge was and how you beat it?

I am going to call them and double check because it doesnt say anwhere on my paperwork that it could take 90 days to receive my check. won't hurt to call thats for sure.
I think if I learned anything, its that you need to do your research on how to word a trial by written declaration. Some of the LEO's on this site have offered great advice for us, just read up on some of their answers to questions as well as what other people have had success with. In my case I just stated the conditions of the day, the road type I was on, and the situation of my ticket and said that I was not guilty and the officer did not have a radar reading on me.
