Did my first track day out at T-Hill last Sunday... my lap times were nothing if not impressive... NOT! I think I was a rolling road block!! :laughing
I worked with Marty again (he worked with me at Reno Fernley in October), and he did a great job helping me get around the track in one piece! I had a great time (the Z2 boys sure know how to put on a BBQ!! :thumbup ), and it was fun seeing so many friends! Congrats to Kyle and Christie on getting their racing licenses!!! :cool

IF I were fast... IF I passed the class and got the license... IF I actually started racing... then THIS would be my "sponsor shot" :laughing I think the only brand name NOT showing is my gloves!

You know, the only position that didn't hurt was on the bike!! However, it was a whole new world of pain to explore OFF the track... yikes!! Sciatic nerve should burn in hell! :cry

Nice photos!
I, too, have had nasty bouts with sciatica in the past. The only time it felt better was during/after a long dirt ride or a long ride on my GSXR. I guess the riding position was taking the pressure off the nerve or something. Much more comfortable than driving a car. Thank goodness it hasn't bothered me in years. Good luck with it!

This is my first experience with it, and it sucks... it really slowed me down on the track. However, if I had a lick of sense in me, I wouldn't have done the track day. I must be developing an addiction... :thumbup Oh well, at least I can blame my lousy performance on the track on the pain thing!! :laughing

Thanks! Yeah, well, being all hardcore in my back yard's what got me into this whole sciatic mess to begin with! :laughing Best run down Mines I've ever done (thanks, Mike!!!), but it came with a slightly higher price than I had anticipated! :( Still, best run down Mines EVAR!!!
Hope everyone will be able to hit the Riata afterwards... great food!!
