My friend is looking for a bike... I found this R6 local for $2500 and it has 19K miles. Do you think it's a good deal? Is valve adjust and carb sync normal maintenance at 20k miles? Here is the listing:

Looking for a quick sale on a 00 Yamaha yzf R6, bike has high miles but comes with a spare motor, a spare harness, a spare ECU, 2 sets of rims 2 sets of tires although the ones NOT on the bike need to be replaced,
bikes comes with:

Yoshimura Tribal RS3 stainless slip on,
Hallogen blue headlights
fresh michellin pilot touring powers
Galfer gold pads
new OEM clutch with 30 miles on it
new Iridium NGKs
new Repsol synthetic oil
new ignition kill switch to help prevent theft
new battery
all bulbs replaced
new throttle position sensor
throttle and clutch linkage adjusted (dealership done)

Basically bike needs side fairings, theyre 100 a side painted on ebay, i tried to buy them but other bills came up (student loans) anyways, i didnt want it to be a stunt bike i did all of the work myself with the help of a motorcycle mechanic friend and basically its a solid bike, its been down but its not a salvaged, and its in no way a lost cause, when i got this bike it was unrideable now it will do road trips, runs perfect needs very minor TLC to be where these bikes should be.

Bike has 2 problems, it will need a valve adjustment, and it will need a carb sync. i was quoted 250 for adjustment with free sync at east bay motorsports.

Remember you get a spare motor i was told has 9000 miles on it, the head and block are sperated but crank and everything is present, cylinders are in great shape, no scuffs or anything. a spare harness, a spare ECU which is 400 plus tax from the dealership, a spare set of rims rotors, the stock piping.
