Hey Gang!
Newbie extraodinare. Been thinking about taking up riding for many years. Finally signed up for a class in January.
Looking for a bike. Plan to purchase it after I've finished the class. I love to fix/rebuild things so I'm angling towards a beater-fixer-upper. Something fairly common so parts aren't too hard to find, and basic so fixing-and-learning is a little less painful (:rofl). Thinking even mid to late 70's bikes (kinda like the look. Reminds me of my childhood). Any suggestions/pointers/recommendations?
Have a bunch of other questions but I think I'll peruse the forums first. I think a lot of them have already been answered!
