Having had numerous dumps on the 50 now (some mine, some buds), i noticed that my swingarm has been scratched up. Any reason i should be concerned about this? DOesn't seem to have any negative impact on operation for now...tia

If rides fun and nothing is cracked should be fine. One of our 50's doesn't have a ring anymore and it fine.
