Stolen Bikes

So not pointing any fingers...but do you think people troll these boards looking for Bikes to steal? For instance, someone posts up "Bike for sale" and someone who JUST joined up says 'Sure, PM me your address'...then BOOM! no more bike.

Would be interesting to see the statistic of bikes stolen right after a posting in a public forum. I know bikes are stolen this way out of newspapers ad's aren't they?

When I sold a pretty popular sports car, I met all the buyers at a shopping center instead of my house.

Too many more convenient bikes to steal to have to go through the efforts of tracking them down via BARF. Sure, it could it be happening, but more than likely it is not.
