So, i was away for about 2 months (I didn't plan it this long)
and my battery seems to be dead :twofinger

Thats right, when i turn on the ignition i see nothing. So what do
you all suggest i should do? Can i just remove the battery and take it
to a service center?

BTW, Happy Holidays!

this is something you should do anyway:....buy a battery tender or something like it. I went to kragen a few years ago and bought a trickle charger for 10 bucks. It's a 1amp charger. It will charge up your battery in about one full day. If you pay about $30-40, then the battery tender will automatically keep your battery charged. No need to take the battery in to the service center.

Great thanks!
I see battery tenders on ebay, some as low as 15-20$.
Would it be wise to go for a cheaper brand? I mean, any
experiences are welcome.

DIY with a battery tender or other 12v smart charger.

If the battery has gone flat zero dead as a doornail it may not recover. You won't know this until you try to recharge and use it.

Is there an alarm or other device on the bike that slowly draws down the battery when parked?

You left your bike sitting for two months and now your battery is dead.

No mystery unless you think it is faking. :dunno
