I have an 03 300rr with about 7500 miles on the stock motor. The front end has been replaced with one from an 07. The wheels, tires, brake rotors and pads are from an 07 also and have less than 400 miles on them. The swing arm is from an 06 but I still have the stock one (I don’t know why, some strange reason). Why all the upgrades you ask? Was it wreaked? No! I just can’t help myself. Here is list of all the parts of interest.

07 front end (includes forks, triple clamp, wheel, rotors, and master cylinder-big improvement!)
06 swing arm (lighter and better geometry)
Moriwaki full Titaium exhaust
Moriwaki rear sets
New clutch (less than 400 miles)
New Dunlop tires (less than 400 miles)
Flush mount LED front turn signals
Puig double bubble

Now here is the kicker. I also have a rebuilt motor with Weisco 1mm over bore pistons at a 12.7:1 compression ratio. A lightened and balanced crank with a lightened flywheel. Now nothing here is to extreme. This motor will run on pump gas and idling in the garage, blipping the throttle you probably would not be able to tell anything was different. Not until you wanted to use the power. It pulls hard from the FAT midrange. The motor has about 800 miles on it and is in top shape. The valve clearance is perfect and a leak down test shows all cylinders to be at 1%. All machining was done by APE. Cost about $2200 for the rebuild. To take full advantage I also have a custom map in the power commander usbIII. It could be a little better on the topend but I did not want to make it to radical. Most of us mortals ride in the 2/3rds rpm range anyway. All you would have to do is drop in the cams and springs!

You get to choose how you want the bike.

Bike with stock motor and all parts of interest………………..…....$5400
Bike with 616 motor, power commander and all parts of interest….$6900

Bike has clean title and paper work for 616 motor. registration good until 8/08

Thanks, its a sweat bike. the only reason I am selling this one is because it has a license and its pretty:). my other bike is out of state as well and does not have a license so theres no way it would sell. all three bikes are pretty much the same and I want to get a sport touring machine.

Thanks cruzzer. I look at all the 600rr's on egay and 600rr.net and I think this is way under priced compared to those that have sold. is it the choice of motors you think? is it time to stick the stock motor back in and put it up for auction?

I think some folks are scared to buy a bike that has had engine mods done. They don't know who did the work and they may wonder why you raised the CC. ie... did you abuse the engine and have to do a rebuild? :2cents

Might make more money throwing the stock engine back in and selling the modded on ebay. Either way good luck on your sale:thumbup

Thanks Cole. that is just what I was thinking. its funny how worried everyone is about the "abuse" used bikes have seen. its a Honda for crying out loud! I am sure these bikes could take far more abuse than I can dish out. Change the oil and keep it clean, what else is there?

I think the more stock the better for people on this board.

What you are offering, is a great price, but people don't know how detailed you are when it comes to all things mechanical. Having you working on the motor is better than taking it to a most shop around here in my opinion!

Good luck.
