What brand does everyone have? From searching around I've gathered that
Graves, Sato, Intuitive are good frame sliders?
What about quality do you really think they make the diff, its a controversial topic apparently.
As far as a clutch slider, what do you think about them? do they get in the way of shifting etc?
I Just got a set of R&G clutch and frame sliders, cost about 160 bucks for all 4, the quality is great!
I dont find that they get in the way at all, and I have huge feet :laughing

i twelved my R1 and dumped it, im talking bout pancake drop, and the only damage was the front fairing stay, right rear set, and scratches to the tail and pipe....the bar-end didnt even touch the pavement...
good product IMO...

I wouldn't mind using those if I stunted this, Im not planning to stunt, and may weekend warrior it. I'd go with frame sliders only, how does the clutch slider affect ground clearance?

i can still lean end to end (tires) no prob...but on a big off camber turn, probably not.
oh, and its not a stunt cage, but a "canyon cage"....the stunt cage you would definitley not be able to lean without scrapin....

it doesnt....if you were that low...you'd be dragging a lot more than the clutch slider

Damnit, So I got them installed everyone but the rear brake side clutch slider.
The nut on the swingarm is 27mm. The socket that I have is 27mm, but its a impact socket and doesn't fit. I went to the local body shop and all they have is a 27mm thick walled impact socket...
Oh where it doesn't fit is in the clutch slider cup, the 27mm fits and takes off the nut fine. Only when i install the slider cup plus the nut does it have a problem fitting.
anyone want to lend me a 27mm non impact or thinwalled socket somehow? heh.
