Some history. I've had this bike for 4 years now. It came to me well abused and already set up for racing. Since then I've massaged it and updated it.

Here's the list:
Frame- braced, custom subframe, BRG solid motor mounts.
Front end- 99 R6 revalved by Aftershocks with custom shim stacks for racing. .90 Racetech springs. Stock R6 brake rotors, and calipers w/ Galfer Black brake pads. (I can out brake everyone I've raced against with this setup) Daytona Steering dampner mounted under the tank

Rear end - FZR600 swing arm, ZX6E rear wheel with captured spacers. (fits Dunlop 155 slick) Custom brake caliper mount with Grimeca rear caliper. Fox Twin Clicker rebuilt this year by Aftershocks.

Other bits- custom rear sets, wood craft clipons, full muzzy exhaust w/ brand new end can. Airtech AFM legal belly pan, Airtech brand new this year upper fairing, brand new super bling blue 520 RK racing chain, and new 45 tooth aluminum rear sprocket. Front tire has two race weekends on it (good for several more) rear tires has 8 laps on it (good for 2-3 more race weekends)

Superbike engine. Way to much money and time invested.
Mods: Kehin CR-Special round slide racing carbs with velocity stacks. .5mm over bore stock pistons. Polished flowed head with valve guides cut out. heavy duty valve springs, titanium valve retainers, black diamond valves, Custom FOG undercut rebuilt transmission. stock cams, but also comes with Megacycle cams w/ BRG adjustable cam gears (to use these you will need to have bike dynoed and jetted by a proffesional like BRG. I could never get the jetting right with these)

Frame straightened by GP Frame and Wheel at beginning of 06 season

I raced the last Infineon round, and did a 1:54.6. Highest finishing EX500 each time I've finished a race (2nd's and 3rd's in 500 Twins).

Bike is located in San Francisco
Thanks for looking

Soooo tempted to pick it up with the stock engine, just cause I'm curious to see what it's like to run an EX on the track, and I don't want to subject my commuter.

Yes for $1900 it's a steal.
I ran a stock engine for 3.5 years that I raced this.
But even the stock engine is nothing at all like a street 500.
It still has the carbs, and velocity stacks, and full exhaust.
Why don't you come over and sit on it. :cool

Because I can guarantee you that I'll end up buying it. :teeth

If I ever take the time to come look at it, you better believe I'll have a trailer with me.

I don't have a place to store this puppy, otherwise I'd have jumped all over it.

Is it still available, or spoken for. I'm interested if you still have it.

I have a guy down at WSMC that "says" he interested, but no firm offer has been made so yes I have it, no it's not spoken for.

I have a guy down south that is interested, but getting it to him is getting complicated.
I thought I'd bump it here to see if there are any local takers before I proceed.

He asked I not disclose his name.
:)

But it's supposed to make an appearance in 500T sometime this year.

OK, no worries. Was curious as to if it was the "down south" person or someone local ... we'll see soon enough!!
