I have for sale my 1989 Yamaha YSR 50. This bike has been restored with a ton of money dumped into it. Looks clean! The bike is very reliable and starts everytime!
I brought the whole bike to team calamari for a full service! The tore the motor down rebalanced the crank and put new bearings in with all new gaskets and top end rebuild! The also rebuilt and rejeted the carb.
The bike has a full japanese lighting conversion! this means the headlight can be turned on and off from a switch! The headlight bulb can be replaced (USDM version is a sealed beam headlight). The rear turn signals and tail light are japanese (this means they are flush mounted).
The bike is currently registered till January 2009 (just paid it up)
The only bad things on the bike are cosmetic!
The decal kit has wrinkles in it on the tail section ( I couldnt get the stickers to form properly)
The gas cap seal needs to be replaced
The head light is out and needs to be replaced.
The reason I am selling is I have a 600rr that I ride. I don't really ever ride the YSR. I also live in Dublin and don't have storage for the YSR so it's stored in San Leandro at my parents house who also want it gone! I started restoring the bike for myself, however i ended up building it for my girl friend who wanted to learn to ride. She never did!
The bike has both mirrors. i only had one on at the time of pics!
