try Team Calimari Racing. They are very knowledgable about 2-strokers and may be able to help. Or google RD50 :toothless

I have a RD60 & yes they are streetable as long as you have a title. The 2 motors are quit a bit different The YSR motor uses a cdi, the RD uses a points system. The YSR cylinder is better it has larger ports then the rd 60, the reed cages are completely different.
If it were me Id recommend bolting in a YSR motor as it is a direct bolt in but the trans shift pattern is backwards, Or if you can get a RX50 the shift pattern will be correct.
You could make it look like this.......

my brothers first bike was an rd60. its got an 80s air cooled yz80 motor in it and its ported. I have an rs50 aprilia and cant ever catch him unless its on an uphill. The tires on the his rd are rated for like 35 mph or something but its geared to do about 60 and he is untouchable on tighter windy roads. This could also be because its the only bike he owns that he rides to the max. Little two stroke bikes are the greatest bikes ever-good luck

Unfortunately the bikes in the pic belong to a local guy. Mine is in need of resto. Ive ridden his "Race bike" replica & man what a ride. Id be sared to death to ride one with a YZ80 in it... That bike is less stable than worn out stock YSR. & the 3" tires are wobbly as hell.

the race bike has a TCR fully modified motor (ported & polished cylinder, modified head, 20mm carb, race clutch, carbon reeds, etc.) Yes, its fast. It is atleast 75 mph bike mabby a bit more. I wasnt willing to push it to the max.
Sorry if I have spelling errors, Yes, i suck at spelling. & taking pain meds doesnt help it any....... Although I have to live on pain meds, No I dont take them before or wile im riding.
