Here is a pic of my 2004 NSR 50R, I just finished putting some decals on there to spruce it up from the plain white stock color.
Bought it of ebay, the original owner is a Honda sales manger and bought it as a display for his home, never been riden..............I will soon change that :ride
What's next? half way thru fabricating a frame slider bracket and will probably purchase a SS brake line for the front.
Any advice on these things?

Congrats on the new bike! We own two ourselves and race with CMRRA here in SoCal. If you are interested in frame sliders, steel braided brake lines or stands contact Mike Radner. He also knows everything there is to know about these little bikes. We just had him help us with our suspension set up and replacing the fork oil. Here is his contact info: mikedbike2002@gmail.com
Good luck and have fun with the bike! They are an absolute blast.
do you mind me asking how much you paid for it?

no problem telling now since its paid for :laughing , I paid $2400, I believe new is $3800 + tax from the dealers.
This thing is brand new so I think I got a good deal, came with all the brochures and manuals etc.
Nice... wish I was about to find one... maybe someone will sell one:teeth

I think Honda Motorsports of Milpitas has a new one and a used one, this was a few weeks ago.
They are under new management and the previous owners had lots of old stock 04,05 and 06 bikes which are brand new.
nice looking out! Thank you!

What's next?Take it to the track, push the front end in the fastest corner, run wide, go into the dirt, throw the bike down the track with you sliding behind it. Get up, smile, then try to catch up!

WOW! :shocker That's a friendly introduction to mini-moto, thanks. I dare to ask what you would think if you disliked me, I will take it as an old saying goes when you are about to have fun "break a leg".
Thanks Manimal, looking forward to getting out this year also.

WOW! :shocker That's a friendly introduction to mini-moto, thanks. I dare to ask what you would think if you disliked me, I will take it as an old saying goes when you are about to have fun "break a leg".I was speaking from experience. One of the faster riders in the CMRRA lost it bad a couple laps into a sprint race. I was on the sidelines watching (I was in the now defunct air cooled class) and helped him put the bike back together and swap out the brake handle before the end of the race so he could finish and get his points. A few seconds after that another friend on an NSR did the same thing, parts went flying. No damage, just looked like a mess. I put the bike back together as fast as I could so he could head back out to the race.
My point is, you can ride that bike as hard as you want, wreck hard because you are having the time of your life and laugh about it. If it was a GSXR1000, you would be hurting and/or pissed. On the NSR you will be laughing as you are getting back on the track to finish the race :ride

The website is undergoing some transitions. Hopefuly the site will be more intuitive for the coming season.
Currently I don't have the class structure on it. If anybody has any questions with class structure, etc..... they can email the webmaster or Matt.
