Wow that just got my composites juices going. those NSF skinns would make for some great starting points for some mini projects i know of.
Not to let too much of the cat out of the bag but I've been learning some new skills for my projects *cough, cough Nick, cough Jay*.

So from what ive seen even outside of the motor mounts not everything is the same between the NSF and NSR frames. I would suspect there would be some customization needed to those NSF skins to get them to fit on the NSR. Good thing they come un-drilled.
As for the price I'de say thats a pretty fair asking price looking at the alternative. There are many cool looking NSF and NSR body kits available in Japan the thing is bringing in large bodywork from Japan is very costly when you factor in the shipping, and often larger boxes are checked at customs and you may get caught with duties on higher valued items.

I saw those the other day at work. It sure makes it difficult to save money when things like this keep popping up.

nice work Brad. I've got a spare NSR tank if you care for another c/f project :p
As for the NSF fairings? Yeah, a bit costly, but at least it's an alternative to the real deal. I, like you, would definately jump on the band wagon if they were, say, a couple hun (at least) cheaper :toothless
Keep in mind, the YSR R6 & R7 body work ain't exactly cheap....to put things into a little perspective :p

You're right, I bought a set of those minimoto R1 kits that come with the taillight and headlights and it was over 500 when it was all over.
I wonder how hard it would be to slap these on a YSR?
