Where: Bender's Bar and Grill (19th and South Van Ness)
Why: because riding bikes + beer = fun.
Hey everybody! It looks like the surgery is postponed until Monday, so I figured I would try and get a Thursday Night Ride going! We'll start from Bender's at about 7:30 or so, and head out towards Pier 39 to check out the sea lions. Then we can loop out towards Presidio and bomb back from Beach Chalet or Cliff House...I'm gonna be pretty broke after paying rent, so I think low-cost is the key. Maybe we can head over to Rip-Tide... they have cheap beers there, too.
Oh yeah...I just checked the weather....it should rain. lame, but I'm riding my track bike anyways. that's how I roll! We can always just shorten the ride as we see fit. I am a big fan of The Little Shamrock out on 9th and Lincoln while it's raining!... :)
