Hey guys-
as a followup to this thread, I feel like it's necessary to just put up some simple ground rules and instructions to sign up for our blowouts deals

1) You agree that you are not actively engaged in business, licensed as or are acting as a dealer, salesman, or manufacturer representative of Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Ducati or KTM.

2) You agree that you will not re-post, reference, allude to or talk about any blowout price or deal you receive by email from Sport Cycle Leasing.

3) All blowout deals are strictly first-come, first serve. No crying, no whining and no tire kickers. Be prepared to pull the trigger.

If you agree to those terms, email (DO NOT PM) me at the following address:

blowouts@sportcycleleasing.com

use only the word subscribe in the subject, you may type a brief note in the body of the email. If you want out, just type unsubscribe. No spam, of course.

When you say "first come, first served" on the blowout deals, do you mean the first to show up with cash in hand? I can see this turning into a after thanksgiving day scenario where people camp out in front of the store days in advance and all panic ensues when the doors open.

Awesome to see someone is looking out for riders (and customers).

I REALLY love to support local shops, keep them in business and all.

BUT - after a whole year of bad experiences with a particular shop in the southbay, from which i bought a bike at MSRP (didnt feel like haggling, and wtf - they need to make a living too), i'm DONE!

I rather save my money, get a cut-throat deal, and - if i feel generous - i rather tip a mechanic for a job well done.
(hey, i'd even tip a parts sales guy when he busts his ass)

i just dont believe in this whole "building a relationship with your shop" kind-a BS. as soon as they got my money i was just "another number" for the service department....


anyways - long rant - i look forward to some smoking hot deals, and maybe i'll turn into a prissy bike swapper too.
(at the moment i'm more a long-term commitment guy with my bikes)

well, SCL must pay their bills somehow.

but as long as they make the money from the guys who lease - that's fine with me.
I gladly take their "over-stock" for rock bottom OTD cash prices off their hands.

I only can imagine that their "overhead cost" is much lower than a regular dealer. no showfloor cost, no sales guys circling like vultures.

Yeah, if you subscribed after last Monday A.M., you won't get mail until the next round. If you sent them a subscription note chances are really high that you're in. They've been really good about answering emails and PMs from me within a day, even while they were trying to get this new subscription deal situated.

Went it to MDK/SCL this morning looking at the second special on that email. Actually ended up finding and buying a different used bike that Joe had there. Super easy transaction, in and out and Joe was a really cool guy to buy from. Would definetly give him my business again and recommend him to anyone, whether you area looking to buy one of his deals outright or lease/finance he gets my :thumbup

The last one was sent out 2/18, so if you signed up after that I don't think there's been another one. Someone will post up when the next set of emails goes out (but not what was in them), they don't send them out all that often.
