My wife just called and said somehow my 2yo son got the monitor to display SIDEWAYS. She can't figure out how to get the display back to normal. Any ideas??

lol....ah, the joys of parenting...
maybe there's a button or switch physically on the monitor. that'd be my best guess.

It's probably a button on the monitor. Depends on the brand/model.

without knowing what kind of monitor there really isn't much to say. your kid is clearly good at pushing buttons though. tell your wife to explore the menu options on the display and she'll probably have it fixed by the time you get home.

ask your 2 year old to go back to the control panel for the firmware that came with the display adapter and rotate it back to landscape monitor configuration.

+1 works in windows (xP onwards I guess)
Set it back to factory default and just readjust your settings.
If you don't want to reset to factory default, it's probably in your OSD menu that they fooled around. Once you get it where you want, hit the OSD lock. :laughing
