Shouldn't there be some more excitment with a month to go? This forum is lame.

Are you kidding? There's a mini-marathon of Law & Order on Bravo.
I tried to drill some holes in a big metal object today with a rechargeable drill, and managed to kill two rechargeable battery packs without finishing the holes. So I hacksawed off some too-long eyebolts instead, I want to bolt these into the holes if I ever get them drilled out large enough (the eyebolts will keep the front tire of my bikes from slipping sideways in my truck). But when I was in the garage I heard a noise and saw a big ol' rat creeping in the rafters, then he ducked behind the drywall. I guess he lives in there.
See, this is what I'm talking about! Is this seriously all we've got going on?

I went for a ride yesterday on my poser bike in my poser leathers with my poser helmet and had some poser ICED TEA:ride:teeth Oh yeah, on that poser road hwy9.:shocker:jaded
Today I worked on my wifes poser car(C5 Vette):p

...wife says I should just keep my nice '07 750, so it's off the market. And, if I play my cards right, I'll have a shiny new toy after June.
Who's going to Daytona? Liko n I are gonna be Matsushima bitches. Look for us on TV screwin' up the pit stops. Hopefully we'll see Jeremiah Johnson there too.

Does anyone know exactly where we can and can't use the quick clips for safety wire? Really, who comes up with those lame rules anyway? And with the new crash rule, if I crash, and no one hears it, does it count? Does anyone even know what the crash rule "rules" are?
If anyone calls my cell, be sure to unblock your phone #. Beyonce keeps calling me from a blocked number and she doesn't wanna hear it when I say "leave me alone", so I don't answer blocked numbers.

I'm in the North East and we're going through another cold spell. I brought the last batch of firewood into the house (we store it in my race trailer in the winter) and this morning I fired up the Husky chainsaw I got for Christmas from my in-laws and cut the last two logs that were too long for our wood stove. Long live two-strokes. Oh, and yesterday my wife and I and a bunch of our friends got together for our friend Josh's birthday. People brought tasty treats and then we grilled some burgers and told inappropriate jokes. Oh, and 2 days ago I straightened an aluminum exhaust bracket on the race bike I bent in a crash a year and a half ago. I procrastinate sometimes.

I don't know about you guys, but this will be my first season and i'm all geeked up and ready to go. The wait until march is killing me....it's like watching water boil. :teeth

Ugh.....one set down, one to go. :rolleyes
I just finished sanding a set too, and now I can't get it painted til early March, so I have to run it in primer for a day...
Mick, I won't be heading to WSMC again this year. Perhaps I'll think about it in the off month, especially now that Lowry isn't riding 750's anymore, but it's more likely that I'll run the Miller endurance round than head to WSMC. Although, with new suspension it would be nice to see if I could break into the high 25's like Green and Schwannbeck did when I was there last and practiced and raced at the same times...

Why can't you get it painted? If you have it prepped, the spray part usually takes the least amount of time...

a buddy does my paint for me, which costs about 1/5 of most guys (granted I do all the prep, drilling and pinstriping), but I have to work around his schedule. He doesn't have time this week and I might head to the track this weekend.
Why, you want to do some paint work for me, Martin? It's just two colors and white plates my man!

I haven't been to Buttonwillow since March of 06. No really, and those pictures posted are when Joe crashed in front of me.
