So I've started working on our company's Checkpoint firewall and my task is to take Checkpoint Smartview Tracker logs and export them to Excel to be able to do better in depth analysis. Problem is there's like millions of records in each log and Excel can only handle ~65K lines, so I've had to use KEDIT(old school, I know) to massage and tweak the logs down to size and then export into Excel. Does anyone know of an easier or better tool than KEDIT or Excel to filter by unique records? Or any better method in general?

If you have more than 65k lines of data, try using a database instead of using excel.

Well, I don't really know Oracle, and I'm not sure if I have enough time to learn a database programming in time to get this done. Wanna recommend a simple one to me that can do what I described above?

MS Access, part of the MS Office Professional package.
You should also look at using a smaller subset of the data from Checkpoint, either a smaller Date range, or only certain fields, which could possibly be smaller then 64k.
