Just picked up my first ZX-10....When I bought my R1 had Kieth Ketchum and some other AFM guys to guide me on tires and improving handling. Kieth and I have lost contact so I am hoping some Green folks can hook me up!!
Heading to my first track day on the new bike and appreciate your input!!
Thanks in advance...

i'd recommend either the UK made Dunlop D209gp, if you're a "fast" guy, or the US made D209gp if you're just starting out. www.sporttire.com

Thanks for the guidance....one piece I forgot to mention....I would love input on size's as well. On my R1 we went down a size and it handled sooo much better! I am curious if that is the case with the my 07 ZX-10!?!?!?

The ZX10R comes with the 190/55 which is what I want to try on my Gixxer 1K. I went to 180/55 right after buying it for the quicker turn-in and now want to try 190/55 for the increased contact patch when leaned over.
The gixxer and ZX10 have much more low end power than the R1 and the extra contact of a 190 when leaned over would be needed more on these bikes IMO.
P.S. I LOVE my Corsa 3's. They did great out at Infineon a few weeks ago.

el skipodore forgot to ask a few things. in order to recommend a tire for you, it is best to know..
1. pure trackbike, or ride on the streets too?
2. if on the streets % of riding done on twisties vs commuting
3. what gruop to you usualy ride in when you go to the track (A,B,C)?
4. how many trackdays a year do you do?
i 190/55 is probaly best for you size wise, it will handle well and gave you a bigger contact patch then a 180/55. at all costs avoid a 190/50.

+1 on the Supercorsas Pro.
26 track days and counting with my ('05) ZX10r ... always used a 190/55
SC1 (soft) front and SC2 (medium soft) rear is a great combo.
