I googled pics of Fritz and the Harley VR1000. Not one goddamn pic. No sense in looking for him on the Dutchman Racing endurance FZR750/1000 hybrid.

A well remembered name by me although I can only see him in leathers and not a face.

Very sad to hear.... I hope the pain is not to bad and he can find comfort in his life and with loved ones.

He rode in 2004 at Mid Ohio and qualified 25th for teh SB race.. still had it then... Pretty cool.
He carded 27-30 for the day but not for a guy who had not raced since Road America in 1997 huh?

I did learn in my search there is a Germn model /actress who is pretty cute her name is Anja Kling FYI. :) (yes look hard enough your pervs like me can find nudie of her ok back to FRitz.

(Back in the late 90's Fritz Kling and his Yamamonster destroyed Grattan one session I witnessed. Coming off the off camber downhill (3 or 4?) he was on the power so hard and he carried so much speed his bike was airborne and landed at the braking point before the esses and bowl entry. Most guys run through there trying to keep both wheels on the ground but he launched that beast like an open class motoross bike. An absolute animal the way he carved that track up.)

I also found out Fritz was the 1989 Michigan Grand Prix Champion. And his Dad Fred raced to with great sucess early iN WERA 1977 I found on him...

(Someone needs to find some of the pics of Fritz Kling going over the 'Hump' at Grattan counter-race. About 5 feet of air under both wheels and he's setting up for T4 midflight. There's one of him taken from the outside that looks like he's on top of the rider he's passing . . .)
