I was really confused for a minute... I was thinking "a footlong bat.. that eats a centipede?" It didn't seem super interesting at first, but I was bored enough to click it. It's not a footlong bat that eats a centipede... it's a big, nasty footlong centipede that catches a bat! OUT OF THE AIR!

What was all the stuff down on the ground squirming around? It reminded me of that part in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when the girl had to stick her hand through that layer of bugs to turn off the Indy Press before it squished him.

If you're curious about the species, it's scolopendra gigantea robusta. Here's a much tamer (non-feeding) video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps82VSoLQY4) of the centipede at an exotic animal expo. Pretty wild stuff. I don't know if I'd be handling that after seeing what it did to that bat.
