For, what should be, the simplest dirt bike on the planet, it sure is a BIATCH to try and get the air filter out :mad

God that thing sucks. I'm gonna switch to the k&n attachment.

i got the K&N for my 50 a while ago. They sent a new main jet with the filter but it has no markings on it. Do I need to put it in?

I would guess you shoud use it since your going to be flowing more air and they prolly supplied it for a reason. Its odd that its not marked though.

only thing about the K&N is it's all exposed, a factor in wet crossings. I know I know how many times you gonna' do that. only takes once though :p

the uni pod is like $17 by itself, and there is a little uni circle filter too probably sub $10? I still haven't swiss cheesed my stocker thinking about that someday I run through a puddle. but then winter is long gone now.

if you have a jet cleaning kit or little drill bits you could verify the size that way?

last thought, forgot who cuz there's just so much aftermarket out there but they make a sweet performance intake manifold that angles the carb out to the left. should make filter access even easier.

wait...i lied. the jet says 09 or 60 depending on which way you look at it. also, the K&N that i got came with a pre-charger so it gets the majority of the dirt first.

If I'm not mistaken, it should be 60 as in 0.060", but what do I know, my bike's fuel injected and the only jets I've ever played with were for nitrous. :p
