The time has come: I need to get rid of my sweet baby to make room in my garage. I've had this bike for the past 2 years and was a great starter bike for me and I've loved owning it. But the sad fact is that I can't afford to keep two bikes, so I'm trying to send this one off to a good home.

For sale is a 1978 Honda CB400
-16,000 miles on the clock
-New chain, rear brakes, intake manifold boots, ignition switch (these done at O'Hanlon motorcycles in San Francisco), new battery, new clutch cable, fresh oil and filter.
-Flat/straight drag bars with Napoleon bar end mirrors.
-Good cosmetic condition (paint nice and original, seat was re-covered by previous owner, side covers perfect, chrome in great shape).
-Oil and filter changed ever 3 months.
-Clean title in hand.
-There's a small ding on the left side of the tank from when some ninny backed into and knocked it over while parked. Hardly noticeable, but worth mentioning. Another on the right hand side from a soda can some ghetto-ass kid threw. Again, hardly noticeable, but I thought I should mention it. Otherwise, the paint's in great shape for being original and 30 years old. Changed out the clutch lever, had the steering straightened and the rest of the bike checked out. No problem.
-Suspension's probably going to need some work soon.
-A carb rebuild and cleaning would be nice for this, but the bike still runs fine.
It's a great bike and I've loved riding on it. A great bike for a beginner since it's very forgiving on the brakes and gas, yet it's not a bore to ride. The twin engine still has enough torque that it's fun and it'll get you on the freeway. It's never been crashed or dumped. Besides the handle bars and the mirrors, the bike's all original. It always gets attention and :thumbup wherever I ride.
I hate to see it go, but I hope someone can give it a good home. That weather's looking great, so get out there.
Price here for BARFers is $200 lower than my craigslist ad, so I'm not really in the mood to haggle over it.
Cheers,
Roy
