I have a Pull Quickshifter for $160. I need a Push quickshifter if you need to trade. I can deliver for an extra 5 bucks.

"Push" for regular and "pull" for GP shifting?

"Push" for regular and "pull" for GP shifting?
The push/pull depends on what type of setup the bike has. For my bike (2005 gsxr) the only way the quick shifter works is for GP shift style. But for other bikes (I do not know off the top of my head) that this will work for regular style.
If you upshift and the shift rod is being pushed towards the linkage to the engine, than a push quickshifter is needed. If you upshift and the shift rod is pulled from the linkage to the engine, than a pull quickshifter is needed.

That doesn't sound right. I have a gixxer that used to have a QS for GP shifting, so I sold it and put in the one for regular shifting pattern. What changes is the position of the shifter rod's link, which simply flips 180 degree.
So, the set up of the bike doesn't matter. What matters is the QS itself.
So, which one do you have currently: for GP shiting or regular shifting?

This Quick shifter is for a gp shift pattern if used with a gsxr, but used with other bikes it can be set up for a standard pattern. Like I said before, some bikes stock use the push orientation on the shift rod where as others for a standard shift pattern use the pull on the shift rod. Flipping the sensor 180 degrees will not accomplish anything.

Sergio Sorry if I'm being stupid but would flipping the linkage mounting point 180 do anything or would it just give you really fast downshifts????:teeth

Flipping the shifter mount (not a 'sensor", I don;t even know what that means) would allow you to switch your shifting from regular to GP: e.g. move the shifter up while downshifting and down while upshifting.
I used to have a bike which me and my friend would ride at the same day: I shift regular, he did GP, so we just flipped the shifter linckage after each session.
You can change any bike from R to Gp in a matter of minutes, but the Quickshifters come in two disctinct models, because (I am guessing) their internal pressure sensor have to be different. Hence "pull" or "push".
Is this the one that works with the PClll? How much is it new? Thanks

Original quickshifter for a 03-05 r6 is a "Push" type. Reversing the shift pattern to GP style will require a pull type...this will fit your need. PM me if you are interested.
